It's hard to love a tiger

By Australian author/illustrator Anna Pignataro this book is a firm favourite. The bright colours are like candy and the illustrations are super loose and sketchy in pencil & wash. There's also a touch of collage throughout which adds visual interest.

Is this story about a real tiger or the tale of a pesky younger sibling? It's one all small children will love and the rhyme works harmoniously too. The gorgeous solid orange endpapers are a real treat.
